课程介绍
AP Biology is the equivalent of a freshman-level collegiate general biology course. The course is organized based on four big ideas.
Big Idea I: The process of evolution drives the diversity and unity of life.
Big Idea II: Biological systems utilize free energy and molecular building blocks to grow, to reproduce and to maintain dynamic homeostasis.
Big Idea III: Living systems store, retrieve, transmit and respond to information essential to life processes.
Big idea IV: Biological systems interact, and these systems and their interactions possess complex properties.
This course will cover many aspects of biology, including biochemstry, cell, microbiology, physiology, heredity, evolution and ecology.
课程目标
- Helping students to prepare for AP biological exam or any other biological tests or competitions, such as SAT2
- Helping students who intend to study in biology, medicine, environment, agriculture, pharmacy to get a general idea of each discipline and accumulate the basic specialized knowledge
- Enriching the biological knowledge and skills of students in daily life

- Student intends to take AP biological exam or any international biological tests.
- Students intends to study biology, medicine, environment, agriculture, pharmacy and any biological related major in the future.
